Frozen Kuwaiti Mornings.
My exams are coming up, and that REQUIRES me to join tuition's, and well... early morning was the only 'good' time for me study. And you know what, this gives me a prospective about the more calmer side of Kuwait, (not that Kuwait isn't calm).
Its hard for me to get up n all, but when i do, the rising winter sun at 6AM is pretty beautiful, and makes it worth it.
And when i finally freshen up, get ready and step out of the house, the cold breeze hits my face, and i practically freeze.
As me and my dad start our journey for the day, the bright rays of the sun shines through the dried up trees, and to be honest, looks very beautiful.
But that comes at a cost, because during this period, the arab schools start opening up, and the level of traffic changes from "ill reach there in 10 mins." to an emotion of extreme frustration that cannot be expressed in words.
but that just helps me see all the small details, like the people walking to the construction site a few meters ahead.
When we finally get out of the heavy traffic and get closer to the highway, things look more city like, with thousands of cars with tired and frustrated people just wanting to go to work/school.
When I finally reach my destination, and bid my dad farewell, I realized the amount of details I have ignored in my 16 years in the country. The peaceful and calm side of Kuwait, only a traffic jam can show you.
