2024
This year, for a lack of a better word, flew away.
I changed internships from a company I felt wasn’t my jam, to another where I felt like I was unnecessary, to finally landing a job that paid me for what I did.
It changed my mindset for everything; no longer did I have to ask my dad if the thing I wanted was in the budget for the month, or if we could save up for the thing I wanted, (which obviously made it so he couldn’t get things he wanted).
It’s finally up to me now.
I could just buy what I wanted, (after saving some of it) just like I always wanted.
But as with any good thing, you get a few bad things, but I’m not going to dwell on that.
I made a few new friends, lost a few family members (one that I held dear to my heart and looked up to). My sister is about to get married (as of writing, the marriage is on Jan. 1st).
And life moves on.
This was the year I finally took a literal step forward in my life. I’m just getting used to everything, but it seems to be working out. There are a few kinks to iron out, but I’ll probably figure it out on the way. (Hope you do; me from 2025.)
Here’s to the year that 2024 was, and here’s to the year 2025 will be.
See you later!

P.s.
As of late I’ve just been writing “year in a review”. And honestly, I prefer it that way.
I can spend more of my creative bones thinking of stories I can turn into short films that way.
But maybe someday I’ll come back to this, let’s hope it sooner than later lol.
